The big annual heritage meeting! Come (re)discover the exceptional monuments that make Avignon world famous! Free or reduced entry to museums and private venues.

The themes of this edition are Living Heritage and Sports Heritage. Created in 1984 by the Ministry of Culture, Heritage Days are now celebrated across Europe and take place every year on the third weekend of September.

It is the cultural event of the new school year, the unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the historical heritage. The City of Avignon establishes a complete program with all heritage stakeholders. The 40th edition will take place on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023.
