Avignon, city of congresses

Due to its strategic position, its easy accessibility by road, the TGV (only 2h38 from Paris and 3h from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and a direct arrival in the city center in 4 minutes from the TGV station) or the airport from Marseille Provence (120 national and international destinations 30 mins by train, 45 mins by car), its priceless heritage, its intense cultural activities and its comfortable hotel capacity, Avignon is a prime location for hosting exceptional events in the heart of Provence.

The food industry is one of the main economic forces – AGROPARC, a Technopole of Excellence in the field of Food Intelligence, is home to the largest business incubator in the PACA region. It is historically dedicated to promoting food intelligence and is opening up to other sectors such as the digital sector (Avignon obtained the French Tech label in 2015).

Avignon has three competitiveness clusters: Innov'Alliance for food, well-being and naturalness, Safe Cluster for Aeronautics and Trimatec, a cluster serving eco-technology.

The cultural and heritage influence of the City of the Popes, its comfortable hotel capacity and our two locations make it an ideal destination and a place of choice to host exceptional events in the heart of Provence.

  • The Congress Center within the Palais des Papes is a unique place, on a human scale, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the unique cachet of its 16 character rooms, for the organization of your meetings, working lunches, gala dinners, exhibitions, incentive activities.
  • The large-capacity Parc Expo, 2 minutes from the A7 Avignon Sud motorway exit, is a versatile and modular site of 27 m500 covered and on one level. It is a functional tool with spaces adapted to the requirements of large-scale events.
