Description
For its annual Great Exhibition, the Palais des Papes offers a dreamlike discovery of the works of visual artist Eva Jospin, which occupy several rooms of the largest Gothic palace in the world from June 30 to January 7, 2024.
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Eva Jospin has been composing for fifteen years forest and architectural landscapes that she develops in different mediums. From June 30 to January 7, 2024, the Palazzo exhibition takes over different spaces of the Palais des Papes, inviting a dreamy stroll between works chosen by the artist to respond to the history and architecture of the pontifical residence.
At the end of the tour, several film excerpts as well as a series of images by photographer Laure Vasconi offer visitors a documentary look behind the scenes of the exhibition, from the long design and production work in the Parisian workshop of Eva Jospin until the impressive assembly of her works within the spaces of the Palace.
