As part of the 30th anniversary of the inscription of the historic centre of Avignon on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the year Avignon, Land of Culture, this symposium explores the links between gardens, landscapes and territories in the face of climate challenges.

Two days of visits, workshops and scientific symposium will bring together the perspectives of researchers and heritage professionals, with a particular focus on the Avignon site listed as a world heritage site and ongoing projects including the restoration of the Rocher des Doms garden and the lighting of the Place du Palais.
